The Riyadh Season is here, signaling the arrival of WWE's annual event, Crown Jewel. These shows in Saudi Arabia are known for their grand scale, and this year's edition is expected to be no different. In this article, we will discuss the match card and make predictions while also uncovering some possible spoilers for WWE's Crown Jewel 2023.

WWE PRESENTS CROWN JEWEL

Date : Saturday, November 4, 2023

Total Matches : 7 / Seven

--------------------------

Rey Mysterio v/s Logan Paul (United States Championship)

Let's kick off our predictions with the highly anticipated match between Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio for the US title. Following his recent match with Dillion Danis, Logan Paul issued a challenge to Rey Mysterio, which was later accepted by Rey. The story leading up to this match has been relatively straightforward, with Rey Mysterio representing the beloved veteran and Logan Paul embodying the internet celebrity who is despised by the crowd. Matches of this nature often do not require elaborate storylines to captivate the audience.
Now, let's discuss the potential winner of this match. It's a bit tricky, yet somewhat easy to predict. Rey Mysterio has enjoyed a fantastic championship reign for the past few months. However, facing the formidable challenge of Logan Paul, an internet sensation with a significant following and a successful boxing career, this might be the moment where Rey finally loses the title. Despite being a part-timer, Logan Paul brings a considerable amount of outside attention to the match, whether it's due to his social media presence or his boxing endeavors.
While some may argue that Logan Paul may not be the most deserving contender to dethrone Rey, it could be a strategic decision for WWE in terms of business and attracting new viewers. Giving Logan Paul his moment as the new United States Champion could potentially generate a surge of interest and bring fresh eyes to WWE. Considering these factors, I predict that Logan Paul will defeat Rey Mysterio and emerge as the new United States Champion at Crown Jewel.

WINNER PREDICTION : LOGAN PAUL

Cody Rhodes v/s Damian Priest

Another match on the Crown Jewel card is Cody Rhodes versus Damian Priest. This match is perhaps the most predictable one on the entire lineup. Since his return at WM38, Cody has only suffered two singles match losses, both at the hands of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. In total, he has only been pinned in one out of the four matches he has lost. Cody has maintained a consistent momentum since his comeback and is expected to continue this streak leading up to WrestleMania 40.

Given Cody's impressive track record, it doesn't seem likely that Damian Priest will defeat him, let alone defeat him cleanly. The storyline surrounding this match revolves around the ongoing feud between Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Jey Uso vs Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley (Known as the Judgment Day). This storyline has been unfolding for a couple of months, and this match will serve as another chapter in the ongoing saga. While it may not conclude the rivalry, it will certainly add another layer to the story.

My prediction is that Cody Rhodes will emerge victorious in this match. However, it is inevitable that there will be interference from the likes of Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and possibly even Rhea Ripley. This interference may result in a chaotic finish, but one thing is certain: Cody will not be the one suffering the defeat.

WINNER PREDICTION - CODY RHODES

Rhea Ripley v/s Raquel Rodriguez v/s Shayna Baszler vs Nia Jax v/s Joey Stark (5-Way Women's World Championship Match)

Let's discuss the 5-Way Women's match for the Women's World Championship at Crown Jewel. Rhea Ripley currently holds the championship, and she will be defending it against four other talented women. While there may not be a significant storyline leading up to this match, it presents a tremendous opportunity for all five competitors to showcase their skills on a grand stage.

Following a intense promo battle on a recent episode of Raw, the anticipation for this match has certainly heightened. Now, let's talk about the likely outcome. Rhea Ripley has been performing well as the champion, although some fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with her reign, citing her involvement in the Judgment Day storyline and a perceived lack of title defenses. However, when we assess the challengers in this match, none of them pose a serious threat to Rhea, nor do any of them have a significant momentum in their favor.

It appears evident that WWE intends to have Rhea Ripley retain her title and continue her reign leading up to WrestleMania. Therefore, my prediction is that Rhea Ripley will successfully defend her Women's World Championship at Crown Jewel.

WINNER PREDICTION - RHEA RIPLEY

John Cena v/s Solo Sikoa

John Cena has had a hell of a run in recent month in WWE. Over the course of eight weeks, Cena has delivered entertaining and emotionally charged segments that have been highly praised by fans.

Initially teaming up with LA Knight to elevate his character, Cena has now set his sights on the Bloodline faction, culminating in a highly anticipated singles match against Solo Sikoa. Rumors and hype surrounding this match have been circulating for some time, with initial speculation suggesting it might take place at the Royal Rumble or even WrestleMania. However, WWE has decided to bring forward the match, and it is now scheduled to take place at Crown Jewel.

The storyline leading up to this match is clear. John Cena has not won a televised singles match in over 2,002 days, which equates to more than five years. In an effort to change this statistic, Cena issued an open challenge, which was accepted by Solo Sikoa due to their ongoing storyline. The two engaged in a brawl, setting the stage for their showdown at Crown Jewel.

Predicting the winner of this match is challenging, as it is one of the most unpredictable matches on the event's card. On one hand, it makes sense for John Cena to secure the victory, given his lengthy losing streak in singles matches. It would be fitting for WWE to change this statistic and allow Cena to finally claim a well-deserved win. On the other hand, Solo Sikoa winning the match also holds some merit. As a rising superstar, maintaining his momentum is crucial, especially considering the reports of a potential betrayal of Roman Reigns and a future match between the two.

While the decision was difficult, I am personally predicting John Cena to be the winner of the match. As a fan, I would love to see him end his losing streak and achieve a well-deserved victory. Additionally, one loss to Solo Sikoa would not necessarily destroy his character. Ultimately, this prediction is based on a gut feeling and could be proven wrong. However, for now, I anticipate Cena finally ending his losing streak and securing a significant win at Crown Jewel.

WINNER PREDICTION - JOHN CENA

Iyo Sky v/s Bianca Belair (WWE Women's Championship)

Another women's match on the Crown Jewel card features Iyo Sky defending her WWE Women's title against Bianca Belair. These two competitors previously clashed at WWE Backlash, where Bianca emerged victorious. Following Iyo's win of the Money in the Bank briefcase, there were constant hints of her cashing in on Bianca, who was the champion at the time. Eventually, at SummerSlam, Iyo successfully cashed in the briefcase and claimed the Women's title. In a subsequent attack, Damage CTRL (consisting of Iyo Sky, Bayley, and Dakota Kai) targeted and injured Bianca, keeping her out of action for a few weeks. Now that Bianca has returned, it's time for her rematch.
Predicting the winner of this match is quite challenging. Iyo Sky recently won the title, and it would be unusual to have her lose it so soon. On the other hand, having Bianca lose the match would also be unexpected. To simplify matters, I believe it is too early to take the title off Iyo Sky. WWE should consider keeping her as the champion until at least the Royal Rumble. While there may be numerous interferences during the match, I ultimately predict that Iyo Sky will emerge as the winner and retain her title.

WINNER PREDICTION - IYO SKY

Seth Rollins v/s Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship)

Let's discuss the highly anticipated clash for the World Heavyweight Championship between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. This match is not only anticipated for its outcome but also for the exciting in-ring action that both Seth and Drew are known for delivering.
Drew McIntyre has been undergoing a transition in his persona for some time now. He seems to be in a state where he is not entirely a heel but more of an anti-hero who prioritizes his own interests. He embodies a mix of both heel and face characteristics, leaning more towards the persona of a heel. On the other hand, Seth Rollins has faced tough competition in the past, having recently battled Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before facing Drew.
The current storyline portrays Drew and Seth as competitors rather than outright enemies, with Drew's primary goal being to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. When considering the likely outcome, Seth is currently enjoying a successful run, while Drew is in the midst of a character transition. This suggests a higher chance of Drew losing the match. Additionally, it is highly plausible that WWE will continue to have Seth Rollins hold the World Heavyweight Championship leading up to WrestleMania, which aligns with the overall narrative. Drew's character would not be significantly impacted even if he were to lose this match, and it could potentially pave the way for his transformation into a complete monster heel.
Based on these factors, my prediction is that Seth Rollins will retain his title as the World Heavyweight Champion.

WINNER PREDICTION - SETH "FREAKIN" ROLLINS

Roman Reigns v/s LA Knight (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)

Now, let's delve into the highly anticipated main event of Crown Jewel, where LA Knight will go head-to-head with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
LA Knight's rise over the past year has been nothing short of remarkable. From being a manager for the Maximum Male Models to now facing the face of the company for the biggest title in WWE, it has been an incredible journey for him. His hard work, confidence, and charisma have paid off, and it's finally time for him to get the recognition he deserves. With a loyal fan base, power, and momentum on his side, LA Knight is ready to take on the challenge of the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, who has held the championship for over three and a half years.
The build-up to this match has been intense, with compelling promo segments and physical altercations between the two competitors. However, when it comes to predicting the winner, it is quite predictable that Roman Reigns will come out on top. Given his historic reign and the reports and rumors suggesting that he will not lose the title in 2023, let alone at Crown Jewel, it is highly likely that Roman Reigns will retain his championship.
However, it is important to note that the result may not be a clean victory for Roman Reigns. WWE may introduce outside interference or other elements to protect LA Knight's current momentum. Despite this, the ultimate outcome will still see Roman Reigns standing tall as the champion.

WINNER PREDICTION - ROMAN REIGNS
