Its the month of March & you already know what time of the Year it is!

The WrestleMania season is upon us, as we've already witnessed the last 2 remaining PLEs before WM, which being Royal Rumble & Elimination Chamber, the Grandest Stage of them all is the very next so.

So Today we will be talking about my match card predictions for WrestleMania 40, taking place on April 6 & 7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Match-Card

Iyo Sky vs Bayley (WWE Women's Championship)

One of the best storytelling of the year, this match definitely deserved a main spot at the Grandest Stage. From Bayley forming the faction, giving everything for it, pretty much losing her every match, the Japanese girl getting together & making fun of Bayley behind her back, Bayley ultimately winning the Royal Rumble and picking Iyo Sky as her WM Opponent, this story had it all, emotions, drama, fight etc. I wouldn't be shocked if WWE even decided to put this match at the main event of Night 1 cause from the POV on storyline, it definitely deserves to be.

Austin Theory vs Grayson Waller

Austin Theory & Grayson Waller have been sharing quite of an Interesting relation on the WWE TV from the past few months. 2 Ultimate Heel forming together, creating a tag team which is extremely booed by the crowd & these 2 definitely succeeded in doing so. As we saw the Elimination Chamber, when Cody & Seth were attacking Theory, Grayson Waller DID NOT save him & just stood aside and watched. This very moment could be a key component to start their rivalry and potentially even turn Theory into a babyface as rumored for long now. This bout would also give both these future talents to get a spot in "The Show of Shows".

The Judgment Day vs The Awesome Truth (Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship)

The return of R-Truth has definitely put a big spark onto the storyline of Judgment Day. The story which might have been looking a bit boring & repetitive was transformed into a lot fun & Interesting. The Story between Judgment Day & Truth and then a later adding The Miz has definitely caught a lot of attention and it seems like the 2 veterans would be again forming their Tag Team, popularly known as "Awesome Truth" to fight against the Judgment Day in a quest to capture the Gold.

Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax

Jade Cargill has made her debut in WWE at the Royal Rumble, and has done multiple appearances in all stint so far & it seemed like Bianca Belair was the most obvious choice of opponent for Cargill but it might not be the case after all (we will talk about Bianca in a minute). The most memorable spot Jade had in the RR was with Nia Jax when she picked her up & eliminated her. Now as Nia is done with Rhea, and she does have some remaining business with Jade, having this match would make the most sense at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Rey Mysterio vs Santos Escobar

Rey Mysterio has finally returned in WWE after having a surgery. Ever since Santos turned on Rey, it was clear on which direction is WWE going with this feud. Now as he has returned on the previous SmackDown and back onto this storyline, it's now more clear than ever on the match WWE is going for at WrestleMania. Also, i wouldn't be much surprised if this turns into a big tag team match too just to add the whole LWO & LDF into the mixture.

Bianca Belair vs Tiffany Stratton

Now its time to talk about the EST of the WWE. Bianca Belair, who seemed like was set to face Jade Cargill at WrestleMania, it now looks like WWE might book her with Tiffany Stratton for her WM's match. The altercation she had with Tiffany at Elimination Chamber, the way crowd was behind both of them & the hype they both got, it left almost sure that this match would certainly rule at the "Show of Shows"

Fatal 4-way for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship

Just like last year's, both Men's & Women's showcase match is expected. If it happens, the Women's one is to be surely for Women's Tag Titles, whereas for the Men's, if the Undisputed Tag Titles have been spitted up & each brand get each for it so it could be for one of the tag titles. Not to talk much about it, a good way to feature more superstars & give them a opportunity to shine at the Grandest Stage.

Gunther vs Chad Gable

Gunther has pretty much faced everyone in the roster. Being the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, and still reigning, if WWE is planning to make him lose the titles so it gotta be in the best possible way or else the whole reign seems awkward. The exact opponent for Gunther seems unclear right now but Gable definitely makes the most sense, both storyline wise and to make sure its one of a classic. Gable now add the layer of "its not just about the title, its personal" definitely adds a lot to the story.

Fatal 5-Way for the United States Championship

Let's shift our focus onto the clash for the United States Championship. Logan Paul's story with Kevin Owens still feels unfinished after having that ending at the Royal Rumble, now in the Elimination Chamber still having alot of heat with KO & further adding with Randy Orton, after attacking him from behind and costing him the match, it seems pretty clear that WWE is planning a multi-person match for the US Title for the Grandest Stage of them All. AJ Styles & LA Knight are also having heated up rivalry, with AJ Styles coming in between the EC match & costing LA Knight. Adding this both onto the mix of US Title would surely appraise the star power of the match. A ladder match could be much expected for such, adding a stipulation to further make the match interesting.

Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso

Been in "story-in-progress" ever since SummerSlam, this match was already set to happen at the "Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment". Not to talk much about the match, Brother vs Brother, a classic encounter, expected to be the best match of the Night or even the whole Year, the perfect storyline & the perfect scenario. Would not exaggerate it to say that this could very well be the best match out of all.

Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley (Women's World Championship)

Mami vs The Man, the Women's World Championship is all set after Becky Lynch won the Elimination Chamber. Rhea Ripley is currently having one hell of a run, the crowd loves he. Becky Lynch, on the other hand, the crowd does support her but i gotta say the reaction isn't same as it used to be earlier so that's a bit unfortunate. Regardless, it aims to be a one hell of a rivalry & match, also mentioning the involvement of Liv Morgan & Nia Jax in the story.

Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship)

One of the most Important matches in the entire card, Drew McIntyre looking forward to finish his story, that is, to win a world title infront of crowd, which he couldn't do last time even though he won the match against Brock cause of covid. Even though this match has already happened multiple times but now Drew's character has changed drastically & won't be wrong to say that he's giving his best performance till yet in his entire career. Expecting a good In-ring match, the story is there & perhaps Drew finally finish his story?

Roman Reigns & The Rock vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

There were alot of rumors from months that The Rock will return to have his ultimate match with Roman Reigns, which actually seemed like the plan but after Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble, it seemed like WWE has once again pushed back the plans. But then CM Punk was injured & the biggest match WWE was planning (which was Seth vs Punk for the WHC) got cancelled and then they needed yet another a big attraction to make the WM even bigger than it actually was. This led to The Rock returning & taking Cody's spot for the main event but then the "We Want Cody" movement happened & WWE had no choice but to give Cody his much deserved main event. As stuff happened in WM kick off show, then both taking shots at each other with Seth having Cody's back & obviously The Bloodline to show their power, adding more to the Authority role as well as The Rock is actually in the Board of Directors of TKO, which is the parent company of WWE. Cody initially wanted a singles match with Rock but he refused and offered a tag team match instead, as of writing, the match isn't confirmed yet but most probably will be in the next SmackDown as all 4 of the guys will be there officially.

Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)

The Main Event of the Show, the biggest match of the Year. Not to talk too much about this mach, its pretty simple, Cody wanna FINISH HIS STORY, on the other hand, Roman Reigns wanna show everybody he's the Best, the real Tribal Chief, and obviously put his name onto the records books. An Year in the making, this deserved main event would definitely the biggest match of just not the Grandest Stage of them All, but the whole Year in general. Not gonna talk about the possible scenarios or result prediction in general cause that's for another Blog but just gonna say "ITS TIME TO FINISH THE STORY".
