WrestleMania 40 : The Final Predictions!

This is time for the Show of Shows. The time for the Showcase of the Immortals. Time for the Grandest Stage of them All.

ITS TIME FOR WRESTLEMANIA

Without wasting any time, let's dive into the detailed Predictions for each & every match on the Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment!

Also we would be going with a different pace in my upcoming articles for the time ahead. I've done the really detailed, talking about every aspect kinda stuff and its doesn't really seem to work, so i'm gonna try something different and try to go straight into it, talk about some important points & talk about the prediction, just tryna keep it short & simple and see how this style of writing works out in the long run. Night 1

Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch (Women's World Championship)

Let's start off with one of the biggest match on the card, the clash for the Women's World Title between MAMI & THE MAN.

Even though its been a year of Rhea being the Champion, and it might seem like a good place to end the reign but the amount of support she's getting lately, i don't think there's any need to taking the titles off her. Just to do the least, WWE could try to change her character a bit but still that's not a major issue. 

Becky on the other hand, has been giving some wonderful work but i don't there's much to earn for her even if she does win the title.

I predict RHEA RIPLEY to take the Victory over Becky Lynch to retain her Championship. This will also give her a much-deserved WM moment.

PREDICTION - RHEA RIPLEY RETAINS!

6-Pack Ladder Match (Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship)

One of the most Interesting match on the card, this will definitely be a must watch just for its crazy & cool spots, which atleast i'm surely expecting.

As WWE specifically mentioned that "Both Belts should be pulled down" in order to win both titles, so it makes pretty clear that the Tag Titles will be getting split at WM.

The most easiest way to do this is to make R-Truth pull down a single set of titles & coming down thinking he won the match but then a different team, which i think will be New Catch Republic take remaining set of titles.

Definitely the best way to split the titles, not making it cliche & adding a fun element to it.

PREDICTION - AWESOME TRUTH & NEW CATCH REPUBLIC WINS EACH SET OF TITLES

Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio

Rey & Dominik faced each other off at last year's WM, this year we're getting almost same just adding the tag team effect into it.

Rey vs Santos storyline has been going for quite some time now, and this might be the best way to conclude it.

Andrade's return & his addition to this match was really Interesting as well. At the final SmackDown before WM, Dominik/Escobar tried to make Andrade attack Rey but instead he attacked on both of them and joined Rey Mysterio in the Tag match. As Dragon Lee, who was the actual partner of Rey for the tag match was previously attacked by someone random (which is most prolly Carlito himself), it makes the most sense to give a returning Andrade a good WM match to get his character re-established in WWE.

Talking about the winner, its like a anybody's game but i guess the babyface side has the better chances of winning the match, just cause Andrade's in it & what's even the point of making him lose his first actual "Big" match after returning?

PREDICTION - REY MYSTERIO & ANDRADE WINS!

Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso

Another rivalry that's been going for quite some time now.

Brother vs Brother, Twin vs Twin & as Jey himself said "ME vs ME".

Again a match where's nothing much to talk about, here we can just sit back & enjoy the show these 2 will be putting us on.

About the winner, its kinda complicated here. Jey being so much over, you might think a WM win will push him into a whole another level, on the other hand, Jimmy also desperately needs a win to prove that's he actually worth something and not just a random goofy character.

I don't think WWE gonna make this a multi-match feud and this might be just the first & final one, so i'm gonna go the easy route and pick the babyface, Jey Uso win the match & end the feud.

PREDICTION - JEY USO WINS!

Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair & Naomi vs Damage CTRL

Talking about this 6-Women Tag Team Match, its pretty Simple. Obviously this match got its place in the card in order to feature all the ladies involved.

It would be a fun match forsure, and also the most predictable match on the card, with the Babyface team definitely picking a good win.

PREDICTION - JADE, BIANCA & NAOMI WINS

Gunther vs Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Championship)

One of the most underrated match in the card, also a bit hated (not really but just to put it in a word) that the majority of the WWE Universe wanted Chad Gable to challenge Gunther for the IC Title but WWE went with a different direction, giving Sami an "underdog storyline" and putting him in "Adversity" as you might say.

The Storyline has been pretty good in my opinion, definitely expecting some good near falls & spots from the match but i think Gunther will still successfully defend his Championship & go further with his reign.

PREDICTION - GUNTHER RETAINS!

Roman Reigns & The Rock vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

The Main Event of Night 1 & not to exaggerate a bit, the biggest match on the entire card after the Cody/Roman match at Night 2.

This has definitely been a GENERATIONAL RUN for all these 4, especially The Rock from this past few months ever since he returned Heel at the WM Kickoff at Las Vegas.

The WE WANT CODY trend made this all possible, and definitely a blessing for every Pro Wrestling Fan. This Rock's heel turn definitely showed a totally different & much Entertaining side of Rock, making all the weekly shows go into the level & hype out the event as it turned out to be.

If we talk about the result, its actually really simple, as the Rock said, if Cody/Seth loses this tag match, the Night 2 main event, which being Cody vs Roman for the WWE Title, becomes a "Bloodline Rules" match where anything goes & The Bloodline can do pretty much anything they want to make sure Cody loses.

Even without thinking for a bit, WWE would definitely not miss this GOLD opportunity to turn the Night 2 main event the most anticipated of all time. Putting this Stipulation would easily increase the Stakes of the match at all & would mean much more after Cody FINISHES HIS STORY 😉

I'm going with Roman/Rock to win the BIGGEST TAG TEAM MATCH OF ALL TIME!

PREDICTION - ROMAN REIGNS/THE ROCK WINS!

NIGHT 2

Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship)

The Hight Stakes match & the perfect contender to kick-off Night 2, the clash for World Heavyweight Championship would be extremely Interesting to watch just to say the least.

These 2 already have faced off each other in a couple of matches before but this seems like the bottom line of the story. Drew wants to FINISH HIS STORY, which is Winning the WWE Championship infront of the crowd, which he couldn't complete despite winning against Brock Lesnar at WM 36 cause of COVID.

The Story has been Great, this Heel version of Drew McIntyre has been even better, won't hesitate to say that's its the BEST version of Drew we've ever seen.

Also, Seth Rollins, potentially being already tired & worn out from the previous night tag team main event, would make much sense of him not being able to be at his 100%.

Now talking about the result, i think its the perfect time to give Drew his moment, to give him what he truly deserves. There's won't be any better time for this & i think Drew McIntyre would most definitely dethrone Seth Rollins & Finally WIN a WWE Championship infront of Crowd.

PREDICTION - DREW MCINTYRE WINS!

The Pride vs The Final Testament (Philadelphia Street Fight)

Another rivalry that has been going around for quite some time, and finally a full-fledged "faction vs faction" in a "Street Fight" becomes set for WrestleMania.
Just to get straight into the result, both of the teams have equal chances of winning but if i had to pick, i'll go with The Final Testament to win cause Bobby & The Street Profits are already fairly over with the crowd, but on the other hand, the Final Testament definitely needs better of it. I think they picking up the WIN in this big of a stage might help them on establishing them as a dominating faction. 

PREDICTION - THE FINAL TESTAMENT WINS!

LA Knight vs AJ Styles

To be honest, the match i'm looking forward alot to. Even though many believes it to be rushed or "filler" but i think this is surely the best WWE could've come up with for these two Superstars.

This has definitely been One hell of a feud, with AJ travelling 20 hours, from the US to Australia just to cost LAK the Elimination match, Knight then invading Styles's home, both having some good brawls at SD & also both fighting in a media scrum too, we've definitely seen it all.

Now to talk about the result, its another really predictable match, LA Knight is supposed to be on a push with him going on forward and win a potential Championship, whereas AJ Styles, being one of the biggest Star & undoubtedly one of my favorite too, still he won't gain anything major if he does win it. So, the best choice here would be to give LA Knight his much deserved WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT.

PREDICTION - LA KNIGHT WINS!

Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens vs Logan Paul (United States Championship)

Not gonna lie, i was kinda disappointed with the buildup for this match. There's 1 more episode of SD remaining (as of writing this article) so hoping that would give us something better but till now its been average at its best. With 3 of the most Popular Superstars in WWE, you definitely expect something better. I think it got a bit overshadowed but all other things happening in the show.

The match, on the other hand, would no doubt deliver and could possibly be a show stealer too, but the build for it could've been better in my opinion.

Predicting the winner of this match was Extremely Easy too, Logan Paul hasn't had much of matches with the titles & you definitely expect more from the maverick. I'm pretty sure WWE is planning to take Logan as the US Champion forward to SummerSlam where he could take on LA Knight or even John Cena & possibly lose his title there, for now it doesn't make much sense to make him lose.

PREDICTION - LOGAN PAUL RETAINS!

Bayley vs Iyo Sky (WWE Women's Championship)

Another Big Match, with a Exceptional Story to the say the least. From Bayley losing pretty much all of her matches, from being gradually sidelined by the group she started, winning the Royal Rumble & finally getting betrayed by the Damage CTRL, if definitely had one of the best storyline.

I don't really know what to expect more, WWE did everything they could with this story & now just a good match to top it off would be the cherry on the top. Also, its pretty obvious that Bayley would be getting the win here, that makes the most & only sense. Now way they made Bayley lose all the time, finally won the RR, and then lose again at WM... That would be Stupid, wouldn't it be? 😅

PREDICTION - BAYLEY WINS!

Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)

THE BIGGEST MAIN EVENT OF THE BIGGEST WRESTLEMANIA OF ALL TIME!

From my personal experience, and i can tell you I've been watching WWE for quite some time now, this gotta be one of my favorite storyline for the whole decade. Maybe cause i'm bit biased towards Cody & definitely won't shy away from admitting that I'M A CODY CRYBABY.

Cody's Redemption Arc after the lose at WM 39 had everything it could, facing adversity, defeating Brock being on some real bad situations and still turning out at the top at the end, it was just PERFECT.

Roman, on the other hand, had a "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" Reign which won't be forgotten ever in the history of Pro Wrestling. But as they say, Good things must come to an End, and there's no better way to do it.

Like him or not, Cody's the biggest Babyface in WWE right now & the Biggest Babyface they have gotten in Years to say the least. There's no better one to dethrone the Tribal Chief than the American Nightmare himself. 

As you might have guessed, i'm going with Cody Rhodes to finally dethrones Roman Reigns, wins the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship & ultimately FINISH HIS STORY!
