Randy Orton's Grand Return: Unveiling the Most Anticipated Comeback Spots and Epic Moments Await!

Randy Orton hasn't appeared on WWE TV for more than a YEAR now and not only his own fans, the whole WWE community/fans are waiting eagerly for the *Viper*'s Return. He last wrestled on May 20, 2022, episode of SmackDown, where he alongside Matt Riddle took on USOS for Tag Titles Unification match. He hasn't wrestled still and as i said, fans are eagerly waiting for his return. Now let's Talk about What really happened to him, why he has been out from ring for the past 400+ days and what are some Scenarios that we can make up to predict his ultimate return. 

What Really Happened to him ? 

Randy Orton has been wrestling for over 23+ Years now. From training, debuting in WWE and being a legend in the business, it is safe to say he had a long journey (still more to go obviously). 

Wrestling is a business full of surprises, probable accidents, stuff happening that wasn't suppose to happen and its a pretty dangerous sport basically. Randy Orton had almost the same experience. What he went through was more of a slow gradually becoming dangerous kind of injury. As he has been using a finisher which requires alot of back force (RKO) and he's been using it for over 2 decades now, all the back-force developed into back pain and slowly started causing him problems. He then took a leave from WWE, had an spinal-fusion surgery around the time of November and thankfully that was indeed a successful surgery and he has been recovering and resting since. Kurt Angle, WWE veteran revealed in his podcast a few week ago that Randy is full recovered from the injury. As Kurt himself said that, we can safely assume that what he was saying was indeed a true report and not just a rumor. Its the time of July, 2023. With many exciting events we witnessed till now this year, next is the "Biggest Party of the Summer" aka *SummerSlam* and fans have high hopes that will bring the much-awaited return of Randy Orton.

When will Randy Orton Return ?

There's have been numerous reports circulating about Randy's return. So as so that even being for him returning in Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, MoneyInTheBank and so on. Well, for all these PLEs the fans were left in quite a sadness that they have to still wait for their favourite Superstar's return. But now as the Road-to-SummerSlam arrives and the *Biggest Party of the Summer* is just few weeks away, Fans are getting more and more excited hoping that this could be that moment. So, taking that in our mind, we have prepared some Scenarios/Storylines (including all the probable reports, rumors, predictions and all) in which Randy Orton could be returning - 

Scenario 1 - Tonight on Monday Night Raw, there's a match between Riddle & Gunther V/s Imperium. There's 3 member in the Imperium, the scenario for it could be that the match ended in DQ and whole the Imperium starts attacking riddle & drew using their number game, and then Randy Orton returns to level the number's game. Then it might set up a future match, complying with the appropriate storyline (However, it would be interesting to see that if he does return tonight, will it really be to help them or will it be the start of "Heel Randy Orton" 😉)

Scenario 2 - If Randy doesn't return tonight, still he can return at any episode on Monday Night Raw before SummerSlam. Excluding Tonight's there still 3 more episodes of Raw left until SummerSlam arrives. According to that, he can still return at any of the episode and set up the story for SummerSlam. 

Scenario 3 - If Randy doesn't return at any of the Raw before SummerSlam, his (most probable) return could fall-upon at SummerSlam. He can return at match involving Riddle, and then starts his Storyline. Well it would make the most sense to make him return at SS as that would make it a very Big-Event and also has from 3 years we had crazy returns at every SS (Roman at 20, Brock at 21 and Damage CTRL at 22) so it would continue that Surprise-factor SS offers us

Scenario 4 - If he doesn't return, even at SS, well that then it would really interesting and mysterious that when will he actually return. Then i don't think so that he's gonna return at any Raw or SmackDown, we have a Saudi Show, which is usually filled with many big elements so that could be a spot. Survivor Series is a place we can look upon and if not even that so Royal Rumble is the only logical spot i can think of his return. 

Well i'm pretty sure nobody wants the Scenario-4 to happen. Neither do any fans would want that nor do I. I personally love Randy Orton and hoping that he would return as Soon as possible. 

If we talk about what would be his possible Storyline he could be a part of after his return, so the only name that comes onto my mind is Matt Riddle. It would be with him being his tag partner again or it could be the long rumored betrayal and rivalry between the two. Many people do say that he will go for Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, which surely could be the case but i think that wouldn't really make any sense. Seth is already engaged with a well-going rivalry with Judgment Day, and i'm pretty sure there's alot of stuff left there for WWE to unfold.
