WWE'S MONEY IN THE BANK 2023
From the O2 Arena, London, we will witness yet another an interesting WWE's Premium live event. After previous year's Clash at the castle held in United Kingdom and looking upon the support it got, WWE decided to do an another PLE in the UK. As obviously being an International event, it was certain that it is gonna be a huge event filled with Top Stars and the WWE did not failed to deliver. With filled with Top Stars and Interesting matches, it is definitely believed to be Stupendous.
First of all before going towards the Predictions talks and obviously the possible returns, we should first look upon some basic information to make sure you know everything about the event.
- So obviously its gonna be held in O2 Arena, London, United Kingdom. The timing for the event is 3:00 PM "EST" / 12:00 PM "PT" / 7:00 PM "GMT" / 12:30 AM "IST" / 2 PM "CT" and so on.
- Right now till the time of writing this blog, total of 7 Matches have been made official. And it is believed that this will be the final match card of the event.
Match Card - Predictions !
So, now let's head straight into the Match Card Now. Here we will be discussing about all the Winners & Losers. We would also be analyzing possible angles, possible ending and also looking upon reports from trusted sources and mix them with our Predictions.
Seth Rollins V/s Finn Balor for World Heavyweight Championship
So here we are gonna start with the big one, Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship. This rivalry buildup has been awesome to be said the least. The Action, Brawls, the video packages, the past flashback and so on. Seth Rollins's whole title run so far has been perfect. Now talking about the match, well you can say its unpredictable or predictable at the same time. Let me explain why - See Seth Rollins has just won a title after so long and if they really looking to dethrone him so the perfect place would rather be at SummerSlam, even though MITB isn't a small PPV but this title change is gonna be huge when it happens so, and also reports are that Person who's gonna win Men's Money in the Bank briefcase will successfully cash in on WHC (Rumored reports not confirmed) So what would be the point of giving finn a month title reign? It wouldn't make sense!! If we talk about ending, i don't think its gonna be any cliffhanger or so, there might be any interference but i think Seth Rollins is gonna *Clean* Defeat Finn Balor.
MY PREDICTION - SETH ROLLINS
Cody Rhodes V/s Dominik Mysterio
Well this match i can safely say is gonna be Very Interesting. Nobody really thought that Cody is gonna fight Dom Dom at Money in the Bank at first, but still i think personally its gonna be good. Maybe you can say that's its a filler to keep Cody busy until Brock return for their inevitable match at SummerSlam and yes it is a filler (kind of). But still i think this match's ending is gonna be really interesting, Obviously one possible scenario is Cody simply defeating Dominik which nobody will say something about. But, i think there's gonna be more to that, WWE is definitely trying to make Dominik the "Ultimate Heel" and what would be the better way than him beating the most loved baby-face right now.
One thing is certain that if Dominik wins its definitely not gonna be a clean victory. Either he will use some cheap Shots, Maybe Rhea will interfere and cost Cody the match or the most possible (and preferable) would be the return of the BEAST INCARNATE BROCK LESNAR and he will cost Cody the match. I would personally prefer the 3rd scenario where Brock returns, attacks cody and set up the match for SummerSlam. I think it would be best way to restart the feud with a bang. If Brock isn't returning, i think Cody Should win. So, its difficult to choose one but i'm gonna go with my instinct and i think Cody will once again suffer a lose (sadly)
MY PREDICTION - DOMINIK MYSTERIO
Intercontinental Championship - Matt Riddle V/s Gunther
This is a yet another match which is obviously very good, these are both two very good pro wrestlers, tbh Gunther has really been one of my favourites WWE wrestler from the past couple of months, i truly believe he's super good in the ring, and is top contender to be the next big main-eventer. But in this particular match i will be mostly curious around the end time more. Why you may ask? Well from the past couple of days, numerous reports have been circling about the return of RANDY ORTON and many also stating he might return as soon as Money in the Bank. So if he is really returning in the MITB, the most logical place for him would be this particular match. Many people have been wanting to watch Randy Orton V/s Riddle for quite a time now and this could be a perfect setup to start the rivalry for the potential match at SummerSlam (considering if Randy do return obviously) And if we talk about the winner, there's no doubt that Gunther is retaining his title.
MY PREDICTION - GUNTHER
Undisputed Women's Tag Team Championship - Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler V/s Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez
Well, this is yet an another very unpredictable match. Many would say "why? its clear that ronda & shayna will win" or some might even say the opposite but the truth is this is a match where many aspects are linked with each other which will ultimately decide the outcome. Firstly, as Ronda & Shayna are now *Undisputed Women's Tag Team Champions* which is said to be defend at all three brands, the thing first strike to my head was will Ronda really come to all three brand? Because she is one of the biggest Women's Wrestler out there and her coming onto all three brands would be weird considering how big of a status she brings with her. My Second thought was some reports stated that WWE is planning Ronda vs Shayna for WM40 so they might lose but then again why lose it now and not at SummerSlam. There's a lot time remaining for WM40 and starting the rivalry just now wouldn't make sense and would feel stretched so i feel like they would be together for some time now and in order to be so they have to remain champions because if they lost the title then again it wouldn't make sense because what do they do now? And if we talk about Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez i feel like they do need a win and regain the title that they presumably *didn't lost* but still if i compare the two angles i think Ronda & Shayna winning would make more sense to the storyline.
MY PREDICTION - RONDA ROUSEY & SHAYNA BASZLER RETAINS
Women's Money in the Bank Ladders Match
Well, here comes the big ones and we start off with the Women's ladder match. This is gonna be really interesting. The Contenders being Becky Lynch, Zelina Vega, Bayley, Trish Stratus, Zoey Stark and Iyo Sky.
So here we gonna go through everyone possible angle one by one - Starting off with Becky, so she is the one who is biggest pick to win so but excluding Zelina, everyone's her enemy and would block her from winning. I still think Becky does have a fair chance at winning but her story heading towards her match with Trish Stratus at SummerSlam so making her win might not be the best idea whatsoever. Still she's in my Top 2 list to win.
Now if we talk about Zelina Vega so i really like her, her match with Rhea at Backlash was a banger and the reaction she got afterwards was definitely a memorable one but to be very honest and everyone knows this that she isn't winning the briefcase at any case. I really like her but Hard luck 😶 The same goes with Zoey stark as well. She just got on the Main-Roster and the time isn't right just yet. She does need alot to grow both in-ring and on the mic and maybe next year but not this year.
Bayley is yet another a big star but as of looking right now in the storyline it's looking like some disputes going in the Damage Control and it seems like it is just verge on splitting up. And this could be the best spot to do so by making either her betray Iyo Sky or make Iyo Sky betray her but whatever happens i don't think Bayley winning the briefcase either.
Trish Stratus, being the Bad Girl here, her chemistry with becky would be interesting to watch so and for her i think its similar to becky cause they both are rumored to be in a match with each other at SummerSlam so Trish winning wouldn't make any sense either at all. We will definitely see some action between her and becky which will lead to further rivalry progression and match at SummerSlam.
Now comes my (and also most of the report's) winner Iyo Sky. She's good in ring, good on mic and this is indeed the best time to push her and give her a big win. Whether her cash-in would be successful or not is a different thing but this win alone would be very big for her career and make out as a big achievement as well.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladders Match
Here's the another big one and possibly the biggest as well. The Contenders are LA Knight, Logan Paul, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Butch, Santos Escobar and Damien Priest. This is indeed gonna be interesting. If we talk about winning possibly so there's no possible winner other than either Logan Paul or LA Knight. Many would say that Damien is a top contender but if you aren't making Logan win than LA Knight is the only and should be the only option. He's worked hard for it and he deserves this BIG WIN. Let's go through a brief detail as well -
Santos Escobar and Butch are definitely gonna be like a filler, i expect them to have some cool spots but nothing much more from them.
MY PREDICTION - LA KNIGHT
Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa V/s The USOS
So here comes the biggest of them all, THE BLOODLINE CIVIL WAR ! This is undoubtedly gonna be the Main-Event of the night. Its just as when there's the Tribal Chief in the event, he's gonna be at the Main-Event no matter who's on the card. Personally this is the match i'm looking forward the most. As well this match could have endless possibilities, angles and probable outcomes. Let's talk a bit in detail -
So obviously Roman Reigns losing isn't a common thing ( or you can say it isn't even a thing right now) and if he does loses, it gotta be something Out of the box. If we look onto Solo Sikoa, he's a wild dude. He's the serious, focused guy who does what he's supposed to do and will do it whatsoever. Jimmy and Jey are the main thread here. Some believe that they betrayed Roman while some say they did what they were supposed to do. After all they were getting disrespected and they need to raise there voice for that.
This story has been going on since Roman return and had many twist and turns between that (also many left for the future, they're not finished yet) The Jey match, then jimmy rescues him and the whole Sami Zayn storyline throughout the year (surely one of the best storyline is WWE's history) then all the betrayals, Sami joining with Kevin Owens and then USOS losing their title at WrestleMania. This Storyline has been simply amazing. The whole story of Usos being out of the bloodline (or are they 👀👀) super-kicking Roman and all has been magnificent and absolute CINEMA to be said the least. This match will surely have many threads connected to each other. Reports has stated that WWE has planning 2 different endings to this match that will affect Roman's SummerSlam match and his future as a whole. We obviously don't know what could that 2 endings be but it will be definitely very interesting as their whole storyline has been. Also we should not forget the inevitable turn of Solo Sikoa on Roman Reigns. Which might not happen at MITB, but the little flames can be started to fire up to reflect the Long-term booking.
Now if we talk about the winner, so it's the most unpredictable match of them all. Roman losing would be weird but if Usos lost so the story would be practically over and they will have to acknowledge him once again. With the thought of this story still going in the future for the final and ultimate end, i don't think so Usos would be losing here because that will end the momentum and wouldn't be too logical to do so right now. So that being said, i would be curious to see if WWE is planning to make Roman lose, how are they gonna do it but my pick goes with the USOS.
MY PREDICTION - THE USOS
POSSIBLE RETURNS
So Money in the Bank is not just expected to have good matches, but also some surprising returns. Let's check who could that be -
- Drew McIntyre - The Most possible and probable return is certainly Drew McIntyre. He hasn't appear on WWE since WM39 and his fans are waiting for his return. And it wouldn't be a better spot then Money in the Bank. If he's healthy and his creative plans are all set, this could be the very place for his much-awaited return.
- Randy Orton - Well this one would be surely one of the biggest return if it happens so, and we've already talked about the possible angle of this return that could happen earlier in this blog. He does have a set creative plan, all now looks upon his health and his body and if its perfectly fine and he's clear to wrestle again, this is the perfect opportunity.
- Bray Wyatt - Well this one if a little tricky, i can safely say that Randy and Drew have better chances of returning then Bray but you never know and always remember (in WWE, NEVER SAY NEVER) If it happens so this would be surely a very big surprise return and an interesting one as well. Not sure what the storyline, creative plans could be. We'll have to wait till MITB for that..
- I'm not sure at all about this but just wanna name out Edge and Bobby Lashley as well. Although there's no reports of them returning at MITB, they will surely have a match at SummerSlam and this could be there spot to return and engage in a feud. But, as i said, no reports for them at all.
